I am sharing what I know as an educational therapist and my own experiences as a mom of a teen who learns differently. I have seen teens shut down as a result of being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information from teachers. I hear from parents that their student is already missing assignments.
There is no need for you to feel helpless when your child struggles with online classes or assignments. In less than two hours, you can pinpoint the areas that are causing your child the greatest amount of frustration and send an email to your child's teachers with recommended strategies.
Online Learning Rescue workshop is essentially seven years in the making...
But it's designed for busy parents.
Ready for a week of online learning without overwhelm or frustration?
(Well, YES of course you are :)
Purchase hereHi, I'm Dynell
I am an educational therapist working with teens who struggle in school. Some of my clients have diagnosed learning disabilities; many do not. Some students are doing quite well with online learning and others are struggling mightily.
Many parents have told me about their students' struggles with online learning. Many students are not getting the support they need and parents don't know how to help. This is what prompted me to develop Online Learning Rescue (OLR).
I have combined my 7 years of practice in assessing and remediating learning challenges, with my experience as a working mom supporting my teen who learns differently, to bring you a solution you can implement TODAY.
In less than two hours, you can identify why your child might be struggling, generate solutions, and send an email with recommended strategies to your child's teacher(s). Parents, we can do this. We don't have time to waste.
Online Learning Rescue (OLR) gives you tools to mitigate your child's distress and work with your child's teacher(s) schools so that your student can learn with greater ease.

How can parents help their students learn online if schools are still trying to figure it out?
I don't envy teachers right now. They are juggling so much. And, I have noticed that many of the hiccups parents and students are experiencing are equally frustrating to teachers. One thing I have learned as a parent who has had to advocate for my son his entire school career, is that teachers and parents want the same thing...for students to learn. Your insights will help your child's teacher(s) understand what is happening at home and how to support at-home learning.
The process I walk you through in Online Learning Rescue is super easy:
- Pick from 7 presenting problems.
- Identify behaviors that you see and check the corresponding color boxes.
- Mix and match strategies based on your child's color profile.
- Shoot an email to your child's school team using our swipe file.
DONE!

A plan that reduces stress.
In less than 2 hours, you will have a plan that meets your student's immediate needs.

A plan that is easy to create.
Our color coding system makes it easy to identify challenges and solutions.

A plan that teachers can agree to.
The interventions are easy to implement. Parents just need to ask.
Imagine...
How good you will feel knowing exactly what to say to your child's teacher or school team to help them understand what is going on at home and what your child needs right now...and to see them take action on your recommendations.
Inside Online Learning RescueTM
Inside is a simple tool that you can use at home to pinpoint what your child is struggling with.
An-easy-to-use process that allows you to get at challenges and solutions associated with executive functions, attention, working memory, and processing speed.
A swipe file to communicate with your child's teacher(s) or school team.
(You're welcome. My pleasure.)

What if there was a way to tweak the learning process so that your child can access information and keep track of assignments more easily?
Here's what you'll do in the Online Learning Rescue (OLR) workshop:
- Careless, rushed work/completes the bare minimum
- Distracted more than usual
- Lacks motivation/checked out/often looks confused
- Low scores/zeros/incomplete assignments
- Low engagement in specific classes
- Persistent overwhelm/high emotionality
- Loses things/more disorganized than usual

And did I mention that this can be completed in two hours or less from start to finish? You don't need a detailed analysis and we don't need to wait for a meeting with our school team. The name of the game is immediate relief so that your child can learn.
But here's more good news...you can use your profile to prepare for upcoming school meetings. Your profile will help you advocate for your child when you meet with your child's school team.

You can use our list of interventions to offer suggestions about changes that will help your child. Because you have taken the steps outlined in this workshop, you will be more confident when speaking with your child's school team. You've got this!

Who is Online Learning Rescue for?
OLR is good for any - yes - any adult who is helping students succeed in online learning.
Parents of students in traditional schools
Parents, the more we can do to help our students become comfortable with online learning the better. There are valid reasons why students are struggling in this new environment. You now have more insights into your child's academic behaviors and as such, can give teaches real-time feedback about what your child needs to learn effectively. While it can be intimidating to suggest recommendations to teachers, as a parent, I have found that these insights have made a difference in my son's academic performance. Your work with OLR helps you advocate more effectively and says to your student, "I have your back!"
Homeschool Parents
For many students who learn differently, like my son, self-paced homeschool is a breath of fresh air. Yet, the same challenges with online learning can occur. For students with poor executive functions, slow processing speed, or other learning difficulties, online learning can be excruciating. Therefore, it is important for us to be aware of heightened stress and address these challenges so that our students can learn with ease. Your work in OLR will help you make the right adjustments to curriculum, assignments, testing, and pacing. You will become a more informed teacher and your student will reap the benefits.
Teachers and Parent Coaches
Online Learning Rescue was created to help adults who care about students understand the increased demands of online learning and find solutions to problems students are facing right now. Failing or struggling in school is a huge stressor for our youth and impacts, not only their academic performance, but often their self-esteem. Teachers, feel free to use the interventions as a menu of adjustments that you can offer to students who need them. They were designed with you and your workload in mind. If you are a parent coach or work with parents in any capacity, giving them the tools to better manage at-home learning is important. OLR is a tool that can be implemented right away by a wide range of adults, in a variety of educational settings.

Whoa! That's alot for such a low price... really?
This is definitely worth more than I am charging. A private educational therapy session alone can run upwards of $120/hour. But, my goal here is to make this information accessible to every parent who needs it right now. I don't want price to be a barrier.
And, if your child is struggling with online learning, every day matters. You can find solutions today. You can reach out to your child's teacher(s) today. I have priced this low so you can grab it and go!
This is not about how much you know or don't know about teaching.
This is about using what you see when your child is learning at home (your part), understanding how that might translate into cognitive challenges (my part) and finding solutions that may work for your child (you and me together). We've got this!

But what if I have no technical skills?
If you can send an email, you are good to go. The workbook can be downloaded and the videos can be watched anywhere on any device. Easy peasy.
I am not a good writer...
Not to worry. The swipe file or sample email is written for you. I review the email in a video lesson and you will just have to fill in the blanks.
Can I use this to help my grandchild or my nephew?
Absolutely! Any adult who cares about and is working with a student can use this information. I love it when family members and close family friends are available to help a student.
In fact, here are all of the people who can use Online Learning Rescue to help students succeed in an online environment...
- Parents
- Foster parents
- Relatives who are helping with online learning
- Parent coaches
- Social workers & case managers
- Education coaches
- Executive function coaches
- ADHD coaches, and more...
BUT WAIT, THIS IS IMPORTANT....OLR IS NOT JUST "WISHES" AND "GUESSES"
Online Learning Rescue is an urgent response to help students with online learning. You will specifically be able to:
- Identify where your child is struggling the most;
- Based on your child's information, identify the brain systems that are most challenged. (And, you don't have to know much about working memory, executive functions, attention or arousal systems, etc. I have already embedded this information into the program.)
- Identify the OLR interventions that can help your child the most.
- Easily share your findings and recommendations with your child's teachers.

What if I don't know what my child needs?
I often find that parents know more about their student's struggles than they think they do. If you are able to identify what is going on with your child, you can do this. I take the guesswork out of the underlying causes and provide a list of interventions that you can access. Your insights are all you need to bring the party. I've got the rest of the goodies and we will work together to identify solutions. The process is super easy and actually fun! I suspect you will have a few aha moments along the way. And, you will feel SO GOOD when you send that email.
What do I do if my teenager and I always fight about school?
Yep...welcome to my world:). Here's what has worked for me and others. First, watch the Welcome video and review the workbook by yourself. Then, introduce OLR to your teen when things are cool between you. Ask them if they want to take a stab at it first, complete the workshop with you, or have very little input. If they choose the latter, tell them that you are hesitant to make recommendations on their behalf without their input and ask if they would like to see the recommendations before you send the email to their teacher. Honor their wishes and proceed.
If you are fortunate enough to work together, take your lead from your teen. Keep your comments short -- and don't offer too many of them. Acknowledge, in a low-key way, their effort and ignore any eye rolling or exasperated sighs. It comes with the territory :).
What if I have an IEP or 504 Plan?
The insights you gain from going through the workshop will be invaluable now and in the future. The OLR interventions alone offer a world of possibilities that you can return to time and time again.
What if my child’s teacher won’t work with me? Or tells me that I can’t have any adjustments or accommodations?
Well, (teachers close your ears please)...at the end of the day, the decision about how your child learns while they are at home rests with you. We, as parents, are obligated to ensure that our child does not get turned off from learning. Stress, anxiety, overwhelm and the dreaded sense of failure are far too common among our teens and it doesn't have to be. Also, based on my experience advocating for my child who has a diagnosis of ADHD and very poor executive skills, if I can help his teachers be successful, we all win. The OLR interventions are realistic "asks" that are common in many schools.
How will I know what to suggest to my child's teacher(s)?
The profile you build in the workshop aligns with the interventions presented. I have taken the guesswork out and will walk you through a fairly straightforward process that will become clear when you dive into the workshop.
How long do I have access to this product?
Lifetime access.
What should I say to my child’s teachers?
The swipe file included in the workshop includes very specific language and a flow that has been time tested. Also, I include a lesson about the email so that you can complete it as you watch the video, if you choose.
What if I don't have a good relationship with my child's teacher?
What better way to build a relationship than to offer a gift? The email you send to your child's teacher is a gift of respect for their hard work and suggestions that will help them successfully engage or teach your child. The tone of your OLR communication is one of partnership and collaboration. And, the "asks" are reasonable and common.

Does this sound familiar?
Your teenager has completely shut down and is "done" with online learning.
Your middle schooler is logging into class at the right time but not absorbing any of the lessons.
Your elementary school student is getting very low marks because of missing or incomplete assignments.
Your child’s energy drains from being online.
You are highly frustrated with the stress of it all, you feel helpless, and you are afraid your child will not learn this year.
We still have time to turn things around and here is your solution.
You + OLR = success for your student.
I'm ready to do this!
