Reading Mastery

Students, learn the secrets of managing a high volume of reading assignments.

Learn how to complete your reading assignments in 1/3 the time while understanding what you read. 

These reading strategies are particularly useful for students who have an IEP, 504 Plan or receive disability services.  They work!

In the workshop, you will...

1. Increase your reading comprehension in 15 minutes or less.
2. Take notes for understanding and recall.
3. Apply this step-by-step process to several subjects so you can use it in EVERY class.
4. Practice so you will leave the workshop with new skills that you can use on your reading assignment.

A little about me...

I am an educational therapist and mom of a high school student who has a diagnosis of ADHD. My son has used these strategies to  not only get through loads of reading materials, but he uses his annotations and summaries to comprehend the material and study for tests!  This is what I love to do: 

• I teach strategies to help students succeed without being overwhelmed.
• I help students find their voice and develop their own path through school.
• I help parents transfer school-related responsibilities to their students.
